Recent studies have demonstrated the variance that
accounts for success in both one's work and personal life is not
IQ, but rather EQ, or emotional intelligence. Moreover, EQ is not
genetically acquired, but rather a skill that can be mastered to
enhance work relationships, more effectively deal with challenges
and difficulties, and foster greater team building expertise. This
training process will enable supervisory leaders to examine their
level of emotional competence and employ strategies to strengthen
their abilities to effectively manage their emotions and those
of employees and co-workers.
