Summary:
Eric is CITEC's manufacturing engineer based in Plattsburgh. He has experience
in engineering design and analysis, product development, process development,
training and supervising production employees, CAD, and project management
in small to medium sized manufacturing facilities. As a field engineer, Eric
has a proven ability to identify and meet the technical needs of regional
manufacturing companies through referrals and direct assistance.
Consulting Activities:
Assisted various manufacturers in northern New York with the development and
delivery of safety training and documentation. Performed a comprehensive
business assessment, developed a 3D plant layout and delivered “Waste-Buster” training
to Ward Lumber. Developed process flowcharts and documentation for McCadam
cheese in support of their HACCP program. Developed a value-stream map for
Preso Meters. Conducted more than 600 maintenance skill assessments in 21
areas for Wyeth-Ayerst over a period of two years. Performed a number of
plant layout studies including drawings and 3D models. Developed and presented
seminars on inventory control and setup reduction. Acted as a liaison for
third party consultants in the areas of ISO 9000, Human Resources, Lean,
Telecommunications and Information Technology, and Safety related projects.
