The "open innovation" USA and New York Innovation Marketplaces are designed to accelerate connections and communications between Sellers and Buyers of innovations through two-way publishing of Sellers' offerings and Buyers' requests using standardized formats.
The New York Innovation Marketplace is a subset of the USA National Innovation Marketplace and part of the Planet Eureka! International Network of Innovation Marketplaces. This is a service of the US Department of Commerce NIST Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP), of which the CITEC is the North Country region's affiliate.
The Marketplaces also include sub-marketplaces focused on: 1) Products that accelerate Green and Sustainability, and 2) Product ideas for new Business Start ups.
