Once One-Piece Flow Cells are in place in your Value Stream, and your Kanbans / Supermarkets / Heijunka Boxes / FIFO Lanes are in place, you’re ready for the Lean Materials Handling System (LMH) to tie them all together.
The four components covered during this implementation/training workshop: Water Spider (the person doing the materials handling); Milk Runs (the delivery routes the Water Spiders travel; Duration & Frequency (the time it takes per Milk Run and the frequency per day; Mailbox Address (the specific drop off and pick up points on the Milk Run Routes).
