Technical Assistance
For companies that lack the internal expertise to
deal with an immediate materials-based issue or need to understand
how future materials technology will impact their business, CITEC
is pleased to partner with Cornell
Center for Materials Research (CCMR). The small business programs
of CCMR reach out to New York State-based companies to build valuable
collaborations between industry and the broad materials expertise
of CCMR faculty. Some of the tools available for small businesses
include a day-long workshop on CCMR testing and analysis capabilities
(Facilities 101) and the JumpStart program to ease the financial
burden of starting a project with CCMR.
For more information, click on the CCMR logo to visit their site.

If your small business is faced with a technical
challenge, the Space Alliance Technology Outreach Program (SATOP)
wants to help. SATOP can provide up to 40 hours of FREE technical
assistance for qualified requests, utilizing the vast engineering
expertise of NASA and participating Alliance Partners (NASA contractors,
sub-contractors or Universities). SATOP is designed to speed the
transfer of US Space Program knowledge and technology to the private
sector, to provide economic benefits to the community, and to
raise public awareness of the Space Program.
CITEC is pleased to partner with SATOP to provide
North Country companies with expert resources to resolve technical
challenges that internal resources aren’t able to address.
